Avoid Commercial HVAC Breakdowns with a Maintenance Plan

If your building’s HVAC equipment unexpectedly breaks down, it can quickly lead to uncomfortable and unsafe conditions for occupants. While Custom Aire offers 24/7 emergency commercial HVAC repair services, we always urge building owners and operators to be proactive about HVAC maintenance to prevent this stressful scenario.

During routine tune-ups, our professional HVAC service technicians perform a 37-point inspection of your commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment to confirm that all the mechanical parts are working, change air filters, and fix minor problems before they progress. This helps lower the risk of breakdowns while improving efficiency and performance of your building’s HVAC system.

One of the best ways to ensure your building’s HVAC equipment receives regular inspections from a certified HVAC technician is to sign your business up for one of our Energy Savings Maintenance Agreements (ESMA).

We understand that you have a lot on your plate as a business owner, and sometimes HVAC maintenance is lower on your to-do list. Eventually months (or years) go by before you finally get around to an inspection. However, the longer maintenance is delayed, the higher your risk of needing emergency repairs or developing poor indoor air quality.

When you sign up for an ESMA, our experts come to your building as often as outlined in your plan to complete the inspection, taking one more thing off your to-do list by eliminating the need to schedule your own appointment.

Types of Maintenance Packages

Our ESMAs provide three options: basic, standard, and custom packages. The best plan for your building and budget will depend on factors like the age of your equipment, how often it is used, its size, and your facility’s environmental conditions. We’ve outlined descriptions of each plan below.

Basic

Twice a Year

Our team advises companies to schedule an HVAC inspection at least once a year, but two times a year in the spring and fall is better. Since your HVAC system works hardest in summer and winter, inspections prior to this time prepare your heating and cooling equipment for the demands of each season. Our basic plan, which we recommend for smaller businesses, ensures these essential inspections of your HVAC system are completed in a timely manner.

Standard

Four Times a Year

Our standard plan is the maintenance package we recommend most for medium commercial businesses that have more robust heating, cooling, and ventilation needs due to higher building occupancy or industrial requirements. This plan offers one inspection per quarter to maintain safe, reliable operation while providing consistent and optimal comfort every season.

Custom

Tailored Frequency

For large businesses with constant foot traffic, ample square footage, and many employees, we recommend pursuing our custom maintenance package that offers the following options to meet your building’s needs and save you money on energy bills in the long run:
– Monthly
– Bi-Monthly
– Tri-Annual
– Annual
– Custom Frequency
