This is a four-year, in-house Department of Labor–approved Sheet Metal Apprenticeship Program taught by a team of highly skilled professionals with over 150 combined years of experience. When you complete the course, you will be awarded your Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship and career progression to Journeyman.
Estimators review project specifications and blueprints to perform calculations to estimate the overall cost of the project based on the personnel, labor hours and materials needed to complete the work. A Custom Aire estimator would have a 2 or 4-year degree in construction management, design, engineering or industrial technology.
Fabrication Technicians work in our shop, cutting, bending and shaping sheet metal, and manufacturing custom ductwork and related products that meet project specifications. Custom Aire Fabrication Technician positions offer career development into HVAC Installer positions.
An HVAC Installer is responsible for the assembly and installation of HVAC systems, which includes ductwork, ventilation, and various types of heating, cooling and equipment. At Custom Aire, HVAC Installers begin at the apprentice or journeyman level and can develop to foreman and project manager positions. You may work in a wide variety of commercial markets or in new residential construction.
HVAC Technicians are always piecing things together as they install, maintain, repair or replace heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Put your problem-solving skills to work diagnosing the malfunctions of HVAC systems or components. Custom Aire entry-level Service Technicians typically have an HVAC diploma, and advanced level positions have an additional 5 – 8+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience with increasing responsibility.
Plumbers work in several industries or in new residential construction, assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems. Whether you are starting out or an experienced plumber, at Custom Aire we are the link to your career path as our business grows.
Project Managers coordinate projects from start to finish, including employees, sub-contractors, materials and equipment, to ensure they are completed on time and in budget.
Warehouse positions are responsible for a wide variety of tasks, from supplying job sites with materials to assisting with inventory records.
