We are an employee-owned company proudly providing commercial mechanical construction and installation, HVAC preventative maintenance and repair services, custom sheet metal fabrication, residential new construction and geothermal solutions.
Scott has a mechanical engineering degree from the University of North Dakota. His knowledge of the industry and commitment to provide clients with exceptional results and service have been vital to the success of Custom Aire. Scott is the driving force behind major new commercial mechanical construction and geothermal projects. He works closely with a core group of managers to accomplish project goals from concept to completion.
The business expertise Randy brings has been instrumental in the growth and success of Custom Aire. Since 1984, Randy has grown the residential new construction, residential/commercial replacement and light commercial construction design build sectors. Randy’s goal is to connect and work with “like minded” high-quality contractors, building owners, architects and engineers to provide the best construction experience!
Commercial Operations/Project Manager
After graduating from North Dakota State College of Science, Rick started with Custom Aire in 1986 as a sheet metal installer. Rick now handles bidding, meeting with project owners, scheduling installation teams, and troubleshooting in the field. A constant presence on the jobsite with a meticulous eye for quality, Rick is an invaluable member of the project team.
After joining Custom Aire in 1990, Jeff is now responsible for day-to-day service operations and managing maintenance contracts. Under his direction, the service team also assists the installation department and project managers on larger projects. Expanding his knowledge, Jeff graduated from Universal Technical Institute in 1989 and is an active member of RSES (Refrigeration Service Engineers Society).
Dwayne earned a degree in industry technology at the University of North Dakota and started with Custom Aire in 1996. Initially, he did takeoffs and shop drawings, which prepared him for his current work of preparing estimates and designing systems.
Ryan joined Custom Aire in 2000 as a journeyman plumber. His background also includes mechanical contracting, and he is an accomplished welder. Ryan now manages the fabrication and welding shops, and is responsible for estimates, production, material orders and shop-related maintenance.
After graduating from the HVAC Technical Program at Bismarck State College, Vince joined the team at Custom Aire in 1996 as a commercial sheet metal installer. Vince was a project foreman for 15 years, leading many commercial projects throughout Minnesota and North Dakota, before moving into the position of project manager.
